WTW88: We Took the PragerU-Designed Ideology Test That Incoming Oklahoma Teachers Have to Pass. It's Nuts...

Part 1 of 2. The Department of Education in the state of Oklahoma recently announced that in their search for teachers to address an ongoing shortage in their schools, they'd be partnering with a conservative "edutainment" entity to develop a test to make sure teachers coming from blue states aren't too "woke." Lydia tells us more about this story and we take the JUST RELEASED test to see if we can pass it. In part 2, we'll dig into who PragerU is, the kind of content they produce, and what we can do to fight back.

0:00:03 Clip: What's so scary about the woke mob? How often you just don't see them coming. Anywhere you see diversity, equity, and inclusion, you see Marxism and you see woke principles being pushed. Wokeness is a virus more dangerous than any pandemic hands down. The woke monster is here and it's coming for everything.

0:00:33 Clip: Instead of go-go boots, the seductress green M&M will now wear sneakers.

0:00:41 Thomas: Hello. Welcome to Where There's Woke. I'm Thomas. That over there is Lydia. How are you doing?

0:00:46 Lydia: Oh, I am honestly pretty freaking excited for this episode. I was like, kind of dreading it because we're going to be exposing ourselves to some really terrible people. But I think this is like such a good opportunity to fight back in this particular corner of the education system in our country, which, you know, we've talked a lot about, gosh, at like the college level, we have talked about, you you know, New College of Florida and how things are being taken over there by right -wing extremists. We've talked about the flack about woke kindergarten and debunking those claims as well. But today, we are going to focus in on something we've been meaning to talk about for a long, long time, and we have some salient reasons why we will be talking about them today. Prager U.

0:01:34 Thomas: Pregger me?

0:01:36 Lydia: No, I would never. I would Never Prager You. No one should Prager anybody.

0:01:39 Thomas: Oh, geez. Ouch. Rejected. Publicly. Wow. Okay. Yeah, I wanted to call the episode preg... What did I say? Pregger your pardon?

0:01:52 Lydia: Prager, you didn't.

0:01:52 Thomas: No. No, what was it? I had another one. It was like you preg your...

0:01:58 Lydia: Prager me, Prager you. No, I don't remember. No.

0:02:02 Thomas: Was it just pregger you pardon or something or pregger

0:02:04 Lydia: I don' t think you sent me that one. That one's good though. Well, I don't know. I like it. Listeners write in, do you like it too? Are you team Lydia or team Thomas?

0:02:05 Thomas: Pregger not really well uh you got so excited to tell everybody I'm fine no one asked it's okay I'm doing okay whenever it's your prep you're just like business just in and get shit to

0:02:18 Lydia: No. No. I know. I just like zoom right in. Yeah. I have 11 pages. We have shit to do. Yeah. Oh, man.

0:02:27 Thomas: Do wow wait okay yeah you're gotta hurry uh everybody okay I can't I was gonna try to think of some more names but uh I

0:02:35 Lydia: Save it for the outtakes.

0:02:36 Thomas: Don't have any time yeah we gotta get going I'm excited yeah prager you is you're gonna tell us I'm sure but this this has been going on a long time it's kind of old by now but it seems to be like gaining gaining and gaining which is not good it's not good can't wait to hear about it well I guess we'd better get to it we'll take our usual break which you can avoid at patreon.com/seriouspod and support the show get occasional bonus goodies and get to speak to us personally you know that's fun I like hearing from you folks it's the best yeah miss you hey write write

0:03:08 Thomas: Us we've been wondering how you've been doing all right after this break lydia's gonna rattle off 11 straight pages of notes okay

0:03:21 Ad: [Ad break 1 — ad music]

0:03:21 Thomas: Well preggers

0:03:22 Lydia: All right. So there's a couple reasons that I sort of alluded to in the intro about why this is such a good time to talk about PragerU. The first reason I'm going to talk About that we're going to lead off with is about a month ago.

0:03:35 Thomas: It was I'd pregger you didn't that's what it was I remembered I got it okay I'm done and we did do we finish stop in the recording

0:03:39 Lydia: Okay. All Right. We did it, folks. About a month Ago, Oklahoma announced that they would be working working with PragerU to develop an ideology test, an ideology test to screen and withhold teaching certificates from teachers from, quote, woke states like California and New York.

0:03:51 Thomas: Bye what wow really because I'd heard about the like the partnerships for like curriculum or something thing, which is bad enough. Oh, wow. Okay. We're already behind the times.

0:04:06 Lydia: Yeah, they already had. They already had a partnership for curriculum. So now this, and we'll talk about that later as well, but this is brand new. They are in a huge teacher shortage in Oklahoma. And so as they're trying to recruit, the superintendent, Ryan Walters, who is my my arch nemesis.

0:04:25 Thomas: Really? I don't know you guys' history.

0:04:26 Lydia: Oh my God, I hate him so much. And Ryan, if you're listening, now you know I hate you.

0:04:29 Thomas: Does he know who you are? Yeah. Can you have an arch nemesis who doesn't know you exist? Is that...

0:04:35 Lydia: I don't know. He's my nemesist. Is that the difference between nemeses and arch?

0:04:39 Thomas: Oh, is the arch... I donno. I'm not sure.

0:04:40 Lydia: I have no idea. I do not like him. I did not know if we ever talked about this on the show. I cannot remember. I was trying to look back through the catalog, but I know I have talked about it in life. I just do not know whether we ever recorded it. Last year, Oklahoma had established a library services advisory board to screen inappropriate books, and he appointed Haya Raichik of Libs of TikTok to it.

0:05:01 Thomas: Yeah. I feel like you did tell us that.

0:05:02 Lydia: Yeah. Yeah, he also has, I guess, helped sponsor policy to get a Bible in every classroom. He said every classroom should have a Bible and the Constitution, and yeah, and there was like a big to -do about that because...

0:05:15 Thomas: Why does math class need the constitution? Does gym need the... Does PE need the constitution right

0:05:25 Lydia: Yeah I uh you know had tracked that even republicans in the oklahoma state legislature were wondering about why it was going to be so expensive and there was some theorizing that he was actually going to be buying the trump bibles because when you when you looked at like the number of bibles he would be buying yeah the the dollar amount was very very very Yeah,

0:05:39 Thomas: Remember now yeah I thought that was legitimate wasn't it my memory was legitimate and then they weren't going to and they pretended they were never going to but I don't know I don't know if we got that into

0:05:55 Lydia: I cannot tell you. I mean, he still says that he is, you know, the only state that is putting forward that every classroom needs to have a Bible. He's very right wing, very religious, very conservative. So, obviously, this is their next step, right? That teachers are too woke in blue states. And rather than have, you know, addressing the teacher shortage when you're 49th in the nation for education and getting teachers in classrooms. Rooms?

0:06:22 Thomas: It well that I can't tell is that I don'T know how many states are so that could be is it 49 are there like 400 ,000 states I I went to oklahoma for school so I DON'T know HOW MANY STATES ARE

0:06:29 Lydia: No. 49th of 50. Yeah, so they announced this about a month ago. Well, the test has officially been released. And he got on with PragerU CEO Marissa Street to announce that it was officially live.

0:06:42 Thomas: There jeez I'm having a hard time believing this like Like, really, they're really doing a an ideology like I know everything they accused the left of for a while was not real. And also they don't care in the hypocrites. But this is like directly like the ideology test is directly the thing they said was the bad thing that the left would do that we can't do.

0:07:08 Thomas: You know, like it's it's so on the nose that I'm like, really?

0:07:11 Lydia: Well they won't call it an ideology test, right? They, of course, frame it as like, this is just, you know, basic history and biology, the two things that tend to be the ideological.

0:07:18 Thomas: But it's like history question: What year did columbus totally awesomely discover america and do everything well and yeah it's all it's obviously yeah I'd love to put a fucking pin in Columbus fuck that guy

0:07:29 Lydia: Oh, Penn and Columbus, we'll be talking about him too.

0:07:36 Lydia: So why don't we jump over to that clip? I have a couple clips from this video where they really push back about the bad press that they've been getting as they've ben announcing this effort. But first, we'll hear from Ryan Walters about what's going on here.

0:07:52 Clip: Look, hey, we're thrilled. You know, we have been focusing on getting education back to the basics, getting it away from all the woke indoctrination, all the nonsense. And we've been recruiting teachers from all across the country to come to Oklahoma. We've been giving massive signing bonuses, the biggest in the country for top performers.

0:08:05 Thomas: Yeah 43 dollars by the way has the top teacher's bonus in the country

0:08:16 Clip: Yeah, we believe in free markets here in Oklahoma. But, you know, as we started to see Gavin Newsom do a radical, radical shift in what they're doing in California's education system, we've said, listen, we have to make sure that the teachers in our classroom, as wirerecruiting these individuals, aren't a bunch of woke And PragerU stepped right in, has worked with us with an incredibly high quality product back here to say, listen, we're going to get away from all these credentials that are run by left wing organizations that have been pushed by every teacher's union group known to man. And we're going to develop our own with PragerU to say listen, We're going make sure that the teachers are teaching what parents want their kids to know. And that's what's so important when you talk

0:08:55 Thomas: Pushed by every teacher's union known to man

0:08:58 Lydia: This is a very anti-union video. Very anti -union. PragerU is very anti union.

0:09:01 Thomas: I get that but like what sure of course yeah but it's just so funny to be like Like, you mean the people who are in the job that you're hiring for universally recommend certain curricula?

0:09:16 Lydia: Yeah.

0:09:16 Thomas: And you're like, well, not that then. This fucking guy.

0:09:18 Lydia: So Ryan Walter is really focusing in on why they needed to do this partnership, the quality of Prager U's material, et cetera, etetera. And then in this second clip, we are going to get more about the bad press that they've been receiving and their responses to that.

0:09:39 Clip: About getting our schools back on track. Well, when people ask me about our content, people will will say, well, Critics say that your content is unfair, unreasonable, manipulates historical facts, et cetera. And here's what I'd like to encourage our audiences to do.

0:09:51 Thomas: Content? I'm going to ask her to pronounce Dos Equis just to... No, sir. Deep cut.

0:09:59 Lydia: Stop. God. Deep cut.

0:10:05 Clip: Find out who are these critics. Who are the people who are critical of PragerU? Who are

0:10:07 Thomas: Kill them. Find them and destroy them.

0:10:11 Clip: The people who are critical of superintendents of education that are willing to put children first who are those people usually those people who are critical of us are the same people who really don't care about children and these are the behemoth teachers unions the large ones like the NEA and the AFD or your political opponents who are simply going to try to smear you with an association with us as if you know PragerU is some negative force or simply the people who have been able to hold the schools and our children hostage to their political agenda. These are the only critics, really, that PragerU has. And these are the same critics that you and other superintendents

0:10:17 Lydia: Listen to this rhetoric.

0:10:55 Thomas: I'm a critic. Do I fall into one of those groups? I don't know. I don'T think so. I'm not trying to think. Also that you just suck, Prager. You hear? Here, everybody just say they suck. And then we break that logic. Yeah.

0:11:03 Lydia: Isn't

0:11:08 Clip: Of education who are really willing to do the right thing have. We have the same enemy. And these are The Enemies of America's Children as well. Look, that's exactly right. And listen,

0:11:17 Lydia: That nuts? These are the enemies of America's children. I just was was shocked when I

0:11:22 Thomas: That's taking it to 11 pretty quickly.

0:11:25 Lydia: Heard that language yeah on an announcement about a test that people are saying is ideological and then you're gonna call the other side the enemy like okay yeah that's really disproving

0:11:35 Thomas: Yeah that's the CEO of PragerU. Yeah it's funny because you would think that they'd be like a little more diplomatic and then maybe the politicians would be saying that maybe the Republican would be Saying that enemy of the kids crap but like she's just wow she's just absolutely at 11 already. Okay, it's pretty amazing though when you can be like well yeah yeah, that's just like, you know, teachers though that hate us. It's like, okay, so anyone who would know fucking anything about it, think about it. Anyone who's in a position to know better about any of these videos is going to have some connection to teaching or education or liberal woke colleges. Like who else are you going to find? Rip Van Winkle is the only person who's actually there. I don't know. Like, who can you find that's not connected to education that could be a critic of this because they need expertise to be a proper critic, so it's pretty convenient to be like, ah, they're unions. Yeah, cool.

0:12:28 Lydia: But they don't know what they're talking about yeah yeah

0:12:34 Clip: The NEA, you know, they're very open on what they're doing when it comes to the ideology they push. I mean, you see this anti-Americanism, you see this antisemitism that is just absolutely nasty. It's disgusting. And so you start digging into these critics and you go, listen, they have this warped left-wing ideology, but they also, it is about power and control for them. I have gotten very, very wealthy off of forcing their way into schools, forcing schools to contract with them, forcing schools to give them a, I mean we talked about this in Oklahoma, one of the first things we did is unions, we're We're not going to let you force teachers to pay into your union. How is that a democratic value? It's absolutely not, but that's what they've done is they go into states, they buy off elected officials, they force teachers into the union. Frankly, they lie a lot of times to teachers about what they're up to. I mean, one of the first things we did was how about we show you what they say at their conferences are their goals, and we had teachers that were just mortified.

0:12:43 Thomas: What?

0:12:44 Lydia: What does that have to do with

0:13:01 Thomas: We have? Yeah.

0:13:02 Lydia: Anything no yeah all right you can stop this is just nonsense. It's so ridiculous how he paints this. And also the idea that unions are anti -American is just hilarious. We're coming up on Labor Day right now. So it's pretty hilarious to say that unions are anti-American at this point. So I said the test is available. It is kind of available. So, I wanted to get it because I was like, oh, let's take it.

0:13:54 Thomas: Let's take it. Yeah.

0:13:54 Lydia: But, okay. So So I started opening it up. You have to give some information to open it up, and I was like, okay, I can do that. It was like name, phone number, email. So I used like my throwaway email account. I used an old phone number that isn't mine anymore, and I used initials. And then the next page is asking for your address, and I was, like, this is getting really invasive, yeah. So I clicked out of it. I have sample questions.

0:14:10 Thomas: I used wokeleftatteachersunion.org. Oh, wow. Are you going to mail it to me? Oh, jeez.

0:14:26 Lydia: We can do that if you want to, if you wanna come up with some fake address, we can put in there, but I'm not putting my real address.

0:14:31 Thomas: Just put the SIO address in there. Who cares? Whatever.

0:14:33 Lydia: I didn't even wanna put that, I don't know. All right, okay, hang on, let me pull it up then.

0:14:37 Thomas: Coward.

0:14:39 Lydia: Let me tell you also that the test is available on the Oklahoma Department of Education website, available in quotes. It basically just redirects you to the PragerU URL for it. But on the OKLAHOMA State Department website and the PragerU website, it lists like take the test and then this launch video. And then if you keep scrolling, it lists a bunch of videos in civics, US history, their videos, right? US holidays and symbols, biological sex and gender.

0:15:06 Thomas: Potent potables. Oh, sorry. What?

0:15:08 Lydia: It says, once you've reviewed the videos, you're ready to take the teacher qualification test inspired by the official Oklahoma teacher test. If you pass the test, you will receive a certificate. But you need to watch the PragerU videos.

0:15:15 Thomas: Wow. That was easy. Yeah.

0:15:22 Lydia: How offensive, how insanely offensive is that if you are a teacher, that they're going to be like, I mean, I'll read you these questions and then maybe you'll be able to even understand like more of why I'm so incensed.

0:15:23 Thomas: You're going to watch a couple YouTube videos to be a teacher? Wow.

0:15:40 Lydia: Which best describes you? Choose as many as you like. We're in, we're in.

0:15:43 Thomas: Oh, we're in? We're in. Oh, wow. I'm going to become a teacher. How much is this bonus? I might be moving to Oklahoma.

0:15:49 Lydia: Parent, grandparent, teacher, educator, student, or other.

0:15:53 Thomas: I'm certainly another, I would say.

0:15:54 Lydia: Okay. Yeah. I'm going to unclick parent because I don't want them to know.

0:15:58 Thomas: That's true. Say grandparent.

0:16:00 Lydia: Okay, Question one of 34. According to the Supreme Court cases, Meyer v. Nebraska, 1923, and Pierce v. Society of Sisters, 1925, who has the ultimate right to direct a child's education?

0:16:14 Thomas: Oh, they're going to be the parents or something. Yeah.

0:16:16 Lydia: Yeah, it's a multiple choice, right? So the superintendent of schools, the parents, the board of education, or the federal department of education. Yeah, the pants. And it says that is correct. We get immediate feedback. That's cool.

0:16:19 Thomas: The woke left. This is going to Be a pretty easy test.

0:16:30 Lydia: Okay. What is the fundamental biological distinction between males and females?

0:16:32 Thomas: The parents. Pee pee. Pee Pee Vagina. God, these fucking children and reproductive anatomy. I always pick Rick of Reproductive Anatomy. Oh, is one. Oh, okay. Wow.

0:16:39 Lydia: Height and weight, blood type, personal preference, sex chromosomes and reproductive anatomy well yes so sorry chromosomes and reproductive anatomy is option d yes well I picked d because that's what they would say that is correct oh I wonder should I get one of these wrong to see what they say

0:16:55 Thomas: God, this is so easy. Should I be a teacher? Oh, if it like the computer, like shoots a laser beam at you.

0:17:04 Lydia: Yeah okay this next one I can guess it wrong

0:17:06 Thomas: Oh man that's so hard though it goes against every impulse so you're saying we're gonna put a wrong answer on the

0:17:08 Lydia: Maybe how is it I know oh you're telling me I need a hundred percent on this stupid test yeah how is a child's biological sex typically defined

0:17:19 Thomas: Test boy for being not the enemies of children you sure have a lot of questions about children's fucking parts weirdos fucking weirdos by old biology

0:17:28 Lydia: They also are like, these are about biology. And it's like, what are you talking about? These are biology questions, according to Ryan Walters.

0:17:36 Thomas: That you learn in school is like fucking frogs and stuff right I mean, yeah, photos. Yeah. The mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell. There better be a question about what the power house of the cell is.

0:17:40 Lydia: Photosynthesis. Yeah. Mitochondria. Exactly.

0:17:47 Thomas: Otherwise you're hiring teachers. I don't know what the fuck they're talking about.

0:17:51 Lydia: Okay. So yeah, parental affirmation, personal feelings, visual anatomical observation, and chromosomes. Online registration. Illustration. How is a child's biological sex typically identified?

0:17:57 Thomas: I lost track of what this question was. Sorry.

0:18:02 Thomas: Oh, for fuck's sake. Well, their birth certificate. I don't know. Like how it just, they reappear. No. Like what are they going to say? Cause like, oh,

0:18:04 Lydia: Should I answer this one right for us?

0:18:09 Lydia: They're going to say visual anatomical observation in chromosomes, but I want to answer it wrong to them because I want To see what they say.

0:18:15 Thomas: Oh God, this hurts. Is this going to go on our permanent record?

0:18:18 Lydia: All right, I'm going to click it.

0:18:18 Thomas: Does anyone know we're getting a test question? Okay. Is it going to be? No, you fucking. Well, hold on. It depends on which wrong answer. Maybe there's ones. You did it.

0:18:20 Lydia: It honestly is really hard for me to click what I know that they don't want me to answer.

0:18:26 Lydia: Oh, okay. No, I did it. So it was personal feelings and they said, sorry, that is not right. Try again so everyone's gonna pass this

0:18:34 Thomas: I didn't like that. The tone was kind of scary when you say that. Sorry. Try again.

0:18:37 Lydia: Sorry well but also they're like you're gonna have to pass this ideological test but then they'relike try again yeah so everyone can pat what is happening oh my god what a mess all right that is correct it's the visual anatomical

0:18:43 Thomas: Try Again. Yeah. I don't think they know how tests normally work.

0:18:53 Lydia: Which which chromosome pair determines biological sex in humans?

0:18:55 Thomas: Yeah, Jesus Christ. How how many subjects do they think there are in school? Like you just it's all about fucking gender identity. That's their God. They are so hung up on it. This is hilarious.

0:19:05 Lydia: I know.

0:19:09 Thomas: What?

0:19:09 Lydia: AABB, that's one of the chromosome pair options we could select. XXXY, RHAB, and XEXQ. All right. Yeah.

0:19:18 Thomas: Fucking this is so stupid. I can't dignify this with the response sorry we for

0:19:22 Lydia: Sorry. Wait for this one. Why is the distinction between male and female considered important in areas like sports and privacy 34 we're on five

0:19:32 Thomas: Fuck's sake how okay how many questions are there and what question are we on okay are we gonna get any like math questions like oh because it's just ideology oh I mixed it up because you were talking about the videos and being qualified to be a teacher I was kind of okay we're just the ideology test okay so we'll probably get some like free market capitalism and unions are evil stuff too but you're really front -loading on the gender stuff okay

0:19:40 Lydia: Oh there there will be zero math there will be zero map yeah it's just oh yeah yeah the ideology test is just history in quotes and biology in quotes yeah yeah okay so why is it considered important

0:20:01 Thomas: Because because of the inherent differences between men and women

0:20:04 Lydia: Here are your options for equity and minority communities so it's juste buzzwords that mean nothing and yeah in response to the question they're

0:20:08 Thomas: What minority what they were real proud of that we're gonna get some of those woke leftists because they're gonna think that's a good thing yeah probably

0:20:18 Lydia: Gonna see equity and minority, to preserve fairness, safety, and integrity for both sexes, to increase participation in sports, or to enhance the self -esteem of transgender children.

0:20:24 Thomas: That man as a woke leftist I don't know if I want to pick a or d you know like those are both I just my they're irresistible buzzwords to me they're both like roger rabbit when it's like shave and a

0:20:35 Lydia: I know. Oh God, I know they're both pulling me in. Yeah, exactly.

0:20:43 Thomas: Diversity transgender you know it's It's like, ooh, man, that's tricky because I wonder what they're going for.

0:20:48 Lydia: All right. Question six. Should teachers be allowed to express their own political viewpoints in the classroom in order to persuade the students to adopt their point of view interesting yeah yeah

0:21:01 Thomas: You know, if they're like, yes, you should be able to convert them to being. But I doubt it. I bet it's a no because they're just of the position that all the teachers are woke leftists.

0:21:09 Lydia: I think so uh yes teachers have freedom of speech too which does not stop at the classroom door no once you become a teacher your freedom of speak in and out of the classroom is restricted out of the classroom I mean

0:21:21 Thomas: I mean, kind of in certain ways on campus out of the. Yeah.

0:21:24 Lydia: Like on campus yeah but not at the grocery store yes sometimes when the issue involves civil rights or social justice no the classroom is not an appropriate venue for political activism. I think they're going to say no.

0:21:31 Thomas: These fucking people. Yeah. It's obviously the last one.

0:21:39 Ad: [Ad break 2 — ad music]

0:21:39 Lydia: What did the Supreme Court rule in the 2025 case Mahmoud v. Taylor? Gender -affirming medical procedures are allowed in America. Students must recite the Pledge of Allegiance in schools.

0:21:42 Thomas: Oh, God. What?

0:21:51 Lydia: Religious schools must hire non -religious staff, or public schools cannot require participation in LGBTQ -themed instruction without parental opt -out.

0:21:59 Thomas: I love this, too, because even their own stupid thing like doesn't work because like what determines your ideology and if you're ideologically compatible with them? Is it that you remember the name of the case or wouldn't it just be like, which of these do you agree with or whatever? You know what I mean?

0:22:12 Lydia: Yeah. Right.

0:22:17 Thomas: Like, what does it matter if you rememberthe name of it?

0:22:19 Lydia: Yeah, Yeah.

0:22:20 Thomas: Also, it's the last one, right? Or was the second? Yeah, the lastone. I already forgot what the order was.

0:22:21 Lydia: Yeah, it is. It is the last one. No, it's the last one. All right, hun. What are the first three words of the Constitution? In God we trust, we the people, life, liberty, happiness, or the United States. I like life, liberty, happiness. It's like live, laugh, love, like a sign that you're going to put.

0:22:38 Thomas: Yeah, yeah, yeah. That would be a weird way to start a constitution. Life, liberty, happiness are things we care about. Hi, we're the constitution. Hi, we're The Founding Fathers.

0:22:47 Lydia: Hi, we're the Constitution. Yeah. Like and subscribe. Why is freedom of religion important to America's identity? I like how they're only using the partial part of that freedom, freedom of and from religion, but freedom of religion. All right. It protects religious choice from government control. It makes Christianity the national religion. It bans all, they wish, it bans Bans all forms of public worship. I guess I shouldn't say they wish because a lot of them are actually Jewish and just very, very conservative and aligned with the alt, right?

0:23:03 Thomas: It's a why question. No, they don't believe that.

0:23:29 Thomas: That's true. Prager's Jewish. The actual guy. Is he dead yet? Is he still alive?

0:23:30 Lydia: Yes. Yeah, he is. No, he's still alive. He's still live. They do chat sometimes on their YouTube, like giving updates on his health and sending him well wishes. Yeah. Anyway, it bans all form of worship. It bans forms of worship and it limits religious teaching in the public square.

0:23:46 Thomas: Oh, bans all forms of public worship.

0:23:48 Lydia: Yeah. Freedom of religion.

0:23:49 Thomas: This is tricky because I feel like some of these are like their worldview, you know, like they do think it banned all forms of public, like, they do think they're persecuted and can't do anything. So this is an interesting one. I wonder if they're like, well, we got to kind of keep our side on their toes, too.

0:24:06 Lydia: Yeah. Yeah, it protects religious choice from government control. What are the two parts of the U .S. Congress?

0:24:12 Thomas: The two parts. Yeah.

0:24:12 Lydia: If you were a teacher, wouldn't you feel like pretty offended by this like very basic question?

0:24:17 Thomas: Oh, I would hope every human being would be offended by the existence of this fucking stupid. This is like if a child tried to write a test to get in their club, but I've just never heard it as parts Is that normal?

0:24:32 Lydia: Oh, yeah, it would be two houses.

0:24:32 Thomas: What are the things you usually say houses or I don't know? I just don't remember hearing parts, but whatever that

0:24:37 Lydia: I'm guessing they didn't use houses because they wouldn't have been able to come up with enough options that are fake. Yeah, because it's the House of Lords and the Houseof Commons. You could have used houses for that, right? Right. But then it says the judiciary and the Senate.

0:24:44 Thomas: Are fake

0:24:53 Lydia: And people know that those aren't houses. The executive and the well, I don't know. I would hope. Yeah, I think teachers who are having to take this ideological test will know that the judiciary in the Senate, the executive in the legislative and then the Senate and the House of Representatives.

0:24:53 Thomas: Yeah, sure do they That's pretty funny. Are we a teacher yet?

0:25:07 Lydia: Yeah. All right. We're on question 11. Almost. We are a third of the way to being a teacher. How many total U .S. senators are there 435 535 100 or 50

0:25:17 Thomas: Oh, I think

0:25:27 Lydia: I thought they just got representatives

0:25:29 Thomas: I think they're wrong aren't there because isn't there the like does dc dc gets a senator I think right I thought they got a non -voting senator or something is that not

0:25:32 Lydia: No maybe no maybe you're right but I'm they don't consider those as people I guess because uh it's 100

0:25:42 Thomas: Obviously does d .c get a senator d .C residents elect a non voting delegate to the house oh wait wait wait no it says two shadow senators but I guess that maybe they aren't officially whatever

0:25:48 Lydia: Yeah I oh yeah that's why it's the shadow geez apparently

0:25:57 Thomas: Yeah how many are we counting shadow senators yeah shadow senators are the woke left okay

0:25:59 Lydia: Not why do some states have more representatives than others Here we go. Let's see. Representation is allocated by population. They cover a larger geographic area. They have held statehood for a longer period.

0:26:08 Thomas: Sort of yeah jesus christ what

0:26:16 Lydia: Or the number is determined by Congress.

0:26:18 Thomas: Sorry all right, what is this for? What is this question for? To them, what is this doing?

0:26:24 Lydia: I don't know. I guess it's like related to civics.

0:26:27 Thomas: I think they've had all the gender stuff. They're like, that's it. We need an ideology test. And then everyone in the room came up with 1500 penis and vagina questions. Ask them what boys are good at. And the girls, the kid, and then they're like wait, we can't just have it be that. So like, well, can anyone think of any other like questions? And then this is what we got. That's it?

0:26:36 Lydia: I mean I do think it's you know their their idea that the woke is anti -american and so doesn't know anything about america and the way our country is like the first three words of the constitution like

0:26:55 Thomas: Oh, they're so So, yeah, that probably is what it is. How would we know?

0:27:03 Lydia: Come on because we're so anti -American

0:27:03 Thomas: They're so fucking stupid. They're stupid. Their worldview has been so fucking skewed by their media that they think that like the left, the people whose is all the teachers and the people who know things won't know these very simple questions. All right. How many would I actually love this? But how many are we doing of this?

0:27:25 Lydia: I don't know we can keep why don't we just keep going all right question 13 what is the primary responsibility of

0:27:28 Thomas: It is fun. Who is this for? Who is it for? This is this is not as hard as the test to get in the country to like become a citizen that that test is hard. I don't think I get past that one. What is this for? You fucking idiots. I really think that's it. They had a bunch of like fucking kids genitalia questions. And then they're like, what else do we do? I don'T know.

0:27:48 Lydia: It's not. I know. Yeah. Yeah, crazy. Throw in some sixth grade history stuff, yeah.

0:28:03 Thomas: Government stuff. Yeah, because, you know, those woke leftists, they they're too busy burning the Constitution to ever have read it. It's like we know all this better than you do, assholes.

0:28:13 Lydia: Who signs bills into law? The vice president, the chief justice, the president, or the speaker of the house? Yeah. What is the highest court in the United States? The federal court the court of appeals the district court or the supreme court I'm gonna go with the one that like literally means the biggest and highest in the united states which of the following is

0:28:20 Thomas: What are you talking about this is incredible this is incredible this isn't credible I can't this is the funniest thing serve on a jury I guess right

0:28:47 Lydia: A responsibility reserved only for citizens serve on a jury own a home pay taxes possess a driver's license yeah next which of the followings are explicitly listed in the bill of rights freedom of speech and religion voting and public education reproductive productive rights in health care, freedom from data collection and surveillance.

0:29:01 Thomas: I spaced out because I can listen to the sorry was was it this is that to be fair this is normally me for tests like I've oh shit I got to reread it 18 times

0:29:04 Lydia: Which of the following? Yeah, yeah. Whichofthefollowing are explicitly listed in the Bill of Rights?

0:29:14 Thomas: Oh okay so they want to make the point that reproductive freedom isn't explicitly listed I don't remember

0:29:19 Lydia: Freedom of speech and religion.

0:29:19 Thomas: The choices is that saying? Oh, okay. Yeah. That was one of them. Right.

0:29:21 Lydia: The other one is voting, voting and public education. Okay, next. What right does the Second Amendment protect? Protect in

0:29:29 Thomas: What is going to be the wrong answer here? What is the person you're targeting? You know who we need to filter out? People who don't know what the second amendment is. Yeah, like they're not going tobe teachers. How do you think they will be teachers?

0:29:40 Lydia: 2025 like literally we just school

0:29:47 Thomas: How doyou think that there could be a

0:29:49 Lydia: Shootings are you kidding me like they're gonna know honestly

0:29:50 Thomas: Potential teacher that wouldn't know this? Like that's important enough to try to filterout.

0:29:53 Lydia: Anybody in the united states who wouldn't know what this

0:29:55 Thomas: Yeah! We all know the fucking thing you guys fucking love so much and cling to, even though it's the death of children. We know the bullshit you worship more than the lives of children, we know it, you tell us all the time.

0:29:59 Lydia: Is worship yeah yep we know it yeah the right to hunt and fish yeah what if that was like explicitly like a right

0:30:12 Thomas: My god -given right. Somebody was really proud, I'm real, because that's what they do with the guns, so that some of them might guess that, I're really proud of that. Somebody is just incredibly proud of the guns. I'm really proud that they do that. I don't know, I don' know, like trick answer.

0:30:25 Lydia: The right to arm the military. The right to restrict certain kinds of speech. The right to keep and bear arms.

0:30:32 Thomas: I want to say the right to arm the military because it's a, that's how they get you. The woke left thinks it's because of a well -regulated militia.

0:30:35 Lydia: What is the supreme law of the United States?

0:30:44 Thomas: Okay. I might get this one wrong.

0:30:44 Lydia: Presidential executive orders. Laws passed by Congress and signed by the president.

0:30:47 Thomas: God's law.

0:30:48 Lydia: Law's passed by state legislatures and signed by state governors or the Constitution. Yeah.

0:30:53 Thomas: Oh, okay. I thought they were going to throw God in there. All right. Darn. Yeah.

0:30:56 Lydia: But I think there is a God element to it too right because then they're like they just go back to the founding fathers the constitution supreme law and they're all religious folks and blah blah who wrote the first draft of the declaration of independence john adams thomas jefferson john hancock or

0:31:02 Thomas: Yeah, dude. Who cares? Who would think, what is this for? It's Thomas Jefferson, right? What is this four though?

0:31:14 Lydia: Thomas pain yeah I don't know I it's like these are just the most ridiculous asinine questions like and also I just the idea that your teacher certification it'd be one thing if you have to do like some sort of teacher certification with like specific to oklahoma standards this has has nothing to do with Oklahoma standards of education at all. Yeah.

0:31:37 Thomas: Yeah. It's nothing. This is nothing.

0:31:40 Lydia: When was the Declaration of Independence adopted? July 4th, 1778, July 4, 1787, July 5, 1776, July 6, 1777, July 4, 1619.

0:31:52 Thomas: Nothing this is this is the best this is so fucking funny just the insight into their brains that this is is like it's I'm embarrassed for them like what do you think like we're so dumb on the left oh 1619 that's what because it doesn't even it'll be one thing if you ask the question like when's the foundational time of our country or something you know like try to ask it in some way that maybe, maybe could be interpreted as 1619. They specifically, nobody thinks the Declaration of Independence is 1619, no one thinks that, like, at all.

0:32:20 Lydia: The Declaration of Independence was on the Mayflower with everybody else like nope.

0:32:28 Lydia: What was the primary reason the colonists fought the British?

0:32:31 Thomas: Oh my god.

0:32:32 Lydia: To to resist expansion of the British Empire, to maintain slavery. Okay, so we get some apologetics there. To resist taxation without representation, to resist forced military service.

0:32:36 Thomas: I would say this is the first one that maybe is an actual ideology test, because I, it is about slavery, mainly. That is actually what it is. Here's the thing, we're not fucking idiots, so if any of us were We're trying. Watch us get 100 % on this test easily. Does that tell you it's a good test that is going to filter anybody out? We're literally the wokest.

0:33:02 Lydia: The woke teachers that are taking this test and they're going to be like, okay, I have to pass this in order to move to Oklahoma and teach. I'm going to answer it based on what Oklahoma wants me to put. And also, you saw what happened when I answered a question wrong. It said, that's not right try again okay you're gonna get a hundred percent yes

0:33:10 Thomas: A lot riding on this. I don't get to move to Oklahoma if I don' t pass this.

0:33:21 Thomas: What is this? Are we taking the actual...

0:33:23 Lydia: The actual test this is the actual test

0:33:26 Thomas: Sorry, how do they plan on administering this in a...

0:33:28 Lydia: It's online you get a certificate at the end and then you present that all

0:33:32 Thomas: We're printing our fucking certificate. Now we got to finish it.

0:33:36 Lydia: Right who were the first three u .s presidents george washington ben franklin alexander hamilton george Washington john adams thomas jefferson george washington thomas jepherson james madison George Washington, John Adams, Abraham Lincoln. Just skip like a lot of years, decades and decades.

0:33:52 Thomas: Who do you think we are?

0:33:54 Ad: [Ad break 3 — ad music]

0:33:54 Lydia: Who is called the father of our country? Benjamin Franklin, Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King Jr., or George Washington?

0:34:03 Thomas: Oh man well I have the woke mind virus so I think it's martin luther king jr who's the father of our country as I was taught by my woke institutions god you idiots they're so dumb they can't come up with a good version of their own fascism

0:34:19 Lydia: What did the Emancipation Proclamation do?

0:34:25 Thomas: They're not even able to do that like I I expected a little better of them okay who's gonna get this wrong and why who is going to get this right and why and how does it serve your fucking test

0:34:26 Lydia: Ended Prohibition. That's what Abe Lincoln really like was focused on.

0:34:35 Lydia: Freed Confederate generals, freed the slaves in the North, ended slavery in the rebelling Confederate states.

0:34:42 Thomas: I don't know who's supposed to get that wrong.

0:34:43 Lydia: Yeah, I know. What was Abraham Lincoln's primary reason for waging the Civil War?

0:34:49 Thomas: Oh, this is interesting.

0:34:49 Lydia: To preserve states' rights, to abolish slavery, to preserve the Union, or to end the Union.

0:34:55 Thomas: So this is very interesting because I actually love this because it's like I got to get into the minds of the idiots because there's a lot of different ways you could go. And it's not necessary. It doesn't necessarily break into like woke first, not woke, because like you would think the woke answer would be to I already forget them.

0:35:11 Lydia: Abolish slavery.

0:35:11 Thomas: Sorry. Yeah, you think the work answer could be that. And the there's like the lost cause kind of answer you know that could be like no it's about all about states rights you know like so that is kind of a weird way it could have gone but then the other weird thing is it's actually I mean it's to preserve the union mainly like that's what it was for but I actually don't know where is it okay is it that the wokest will think it's done slavery but it was actually to preserve the union or here's the thing here's where it's so crazy is that the woke left abandoning our old heroes and actually like we would say the woke left would say it's to preserve the union but really he was the hero who stopped slavery is that what it is oh

0:35:56 Lydia: I don't think so. I think the first one is right. Right. I think that as a woke person, we would be focused on race. We would be focused on that. Okay.

0:36:03 Thomas: I don't know this is great I can't wait you haven't clicked it yet no don't click it yet so I know I finished your point I just want to make sure no

0:36:05 Lydia: Let's see. I have not clicked it yet. Okay, all right. I'm waiting. Yeah, I think they would say we are so obsessed with race and slavery.

0:36:13 Thomas: I think you're wrong I think

0:36:15 Lydia: Okay, so you think that they think that woke people are going to say to preserve the union.

0:36:17 Thomas: Here's what I think I think the woke have come for Abraham Lincoln And I think the woke have pointed out, hey, and I actually, you know, this is a place where I actually disagree with the woke. I think that is a talking point that I mean, it's often expressed with nuance in ways that people don't translate. But I think The Woke leftists want to come for Abraham Lincoln say he didn't even care about slavery. It's all about preserving the union.

0:36:39 Thomas: And the reality is, it is like kind of both. He does have that quote that if I could preserve the union by abolishing slavery, I'd do it. If I could preserve the union, by keeping slavery, I'd do it if I, you know, or something like that. He has some quote, I think it's that. So I actually think this is about the woke taking down a hero. And I think the woke answer is preserve the Union. The real answer is slavery. That's what I think. All right, let's find out.

0:37:01 Lydia: Huh. Okay so what do you want me to hit?

0:37:04 Thomas: Oh, I don't care. We, uh, yeah. To hit, what do you think? Yeah. Really?

0:37:05 Lydia: I'm going to hit what I think which which is to preserve the union. Oh, I'm correct. Yeah.

0:37:10 Thomas: So to preserve the reunion is the correct answer.

0:37:12 Lydia: Is the answer. Yeah, yeah.

0:37:13 Thomas: Really? Really? Oh, wow. Okay. So in a way that's like worse.

0:37:18 Lydia: Yeah and I also like I think you're theorizing there was like really instructive too. Like I don't know kind of breaking things down and trying to get into their heads.

0:37:26 Thomas: Yeah, this is crazy to preserve the union. That surprises me because I was pretty sure I was right with what they're thinking. Like, I'm not sure.

0:37:34 Lydia: But I don' think that they're thinking about woke people today. They're probably thinking about the archetype, right? Like the caricature of a woke person.

0:37:41 Thomas: No, they're thinking about woke people today because they're like, nah,

0:37:44 Lydia: I'm saying like they can't keep up with things that are happening. Like they still still kind of focus in on that stuff. Oh, okay.

0:37:47 Thomas: This isn't like a now thing. This isn't any newer than 1619 Project. Wow. I'm surprised. So is this them wanting to be like, I'm really, no, you're wrong. You're you're lying to me. There's, I don't get it.

0:37:58 Lydia: No, that that's what PragerU says. I mean, yeah. And you know, Prager U, they say that they're right about everything.

0:38:00 Thomas: How really, I just don't get why that's there. You know, like what, how does that help them? Yeah. I'm actually, that

0:38:09 Lydia: So maybe we could ask, maybe we can draft an email to Marissa Street and say, we'd like comment about this question in particular.

0:38:15 Thomas: Is so weird. This is, this is very, it's, it'S it's a Prager use horseshoe theory. You know? It's like the Prager, I was trying to make that work. It didn't work, but like this is where the woke and the right could be giving the same answers really, or opposite answers. Yeah. That's blowing my mind. I actually, that's interesting. Okay. Really?

0:38:29 Lydia: Yeah. All right. We only have a few questions left. Seven. Yeah, what cause is Martin Luther King Jr. best known for?

0:38:40 Thomas: Cheating on his wife.

0:38:42 Lydia: Advocating for segregation. Aggregation. Advocating for the abolition of slavery. Advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion. Advocation for racial equality under the law.

0:38:55 Thomas: I feel like it's almost always D

0:38:58 Lydia: Yeah, a lot of them have indeed. Yeah.

0:38:58 Thomas: Like haven't most of them been D. Yeah. Oh, that is so funny.

0:39:01 Lydia: How did the Cold War end?

0:39:03 Thomas: Oh okay. It warmed up. I don't know.

0:39:05 Lydia: The U .S. prevailed in the Cuban Missile Crisis.

0:39:10 Thomas: We won that crisis. One to nothing.

0:39:10 Lydia: Russia invaded and occupied Ukraine the Soviet Union collapsed and the U.S.

0:39:16 Thomas: Who is this for?

0:39:23 Lydia: The u s the european union and the soviet union signed a peace treaty

0:39:28 Thomas: What? No, it's the Soviet Union collapse. That one was so funny that I was like, like, what?

0:39:29 Lydia: Yeah it's just that it collapsed yeah there's no peace treaty yeah russia

0:39:35 Thomas: How would that mean that?

0:39:35 Lydia: Invaded ukraine that the cold war's done that's when it warmed up it was cold until they entered ukraine

0:39:40 Thomas: This is so good. I love this. This is, ah, this makes me happy.

0:39:46 Lydia: Yeah who was president during the great depression and world war ii woodrow wilson harry s truman

0:39:50 Thomas: Oh, here we go. Okay. So they want to shit talk Roosevelt, right?

0:39:56 Lydia: Yeah franklin d roosevelt or teddy rooseville

0:39:59 Thomas: Okay. Well, they want to shit -talk FDR. That's, that's what it is. Yeah. You mean the guy who got us through that stuff? Stuff yeah yeah he wasn't president like going into it yeah oh

0:40:01 Lydia: Yeah yeah that's what it is that like yeah he's behind out of the Great Depression yeah I don't see herbert Hoover listed there. Yeah. What is the name of the national anthem? The Star Spangled Banner, America the Beautiful, This Land is Your Land, or God Bless America?

0:40:20 Thomas: Okay it's got to be the first one right because that was one I could have gotten wrong like I that's the kind of thing that I don't

0:40:22 Lydia: Yes, it is the first one. I like America the beautiful. You probably, yeah.

0:40:27 Thomas: Fucking care about and would get wrong I would yeah I they could have given me a set of answers that would have made me get that wrong

0:40:33 Lydia: Yeah, I think it would have actually been better if they did like nonsense songs too.

0:40:37 Thomas: One should have been like you know black people are superior or something you know one should've been like the woke anthem this is America. Oh yeah.

0:40:42 Lydia: No, they should have done the, yeah, the Black American. No, no, no. There's the Black National Anthem. Yeah they should've put that in there. Why are Are there 13 stripes on the American flag, one for each signer of the Declaration of Independence, to honor the 13th Amendment, to commemorate America's fallen soldiers, to symbolize the original colonies?

0:40:54 Thomas: Slavery. That's so good. Oh, is it D again?

0:41:07 Lydia: Oh, yeah.

0:41:07 Thomas: Weird. What percentage of them were D? It was like 80%. Yeah.

0:41:09 Lydia: I don't know. I'd have to take the test again. Which national holiday honors those who died while serving in the U .S. military? Armistice Day, Memorial Day, Veterans Day, Flag Day. Yeah.

0:41:18 Thomas: Dude, who doesn't know this? Who doesn't know this flag day? No, I'm just kidding.

0:41:24 Lydia: All right question 33 we're almost there which of the following is a phrase from the pledge of allegiance life every day and teachers that are in a classroom teachers that are in classrooms longer than any of the rest of

0:41:32 Thomas: You mean the thing we all had to say every fucking day for a hundred years only true conservatives would know this I think it's I pledge allegiance to the wokest of the martin luther king jr diversity equity and inclusion of the critical race theory through which it's for which it stands I think that's

0:41:55 Lydia: Us life liberty and the pursuit of happiness of by and for the people one nation indivisible with liberty and justice for all one nation under

0:41:59 Thomas: It hi we're the we're at the pledge of allegiance allegiance oh uh

0:42:08 Lydia: God indivisible with liberty and injustice for all that's a great question

0:42:11 Thomas: Well what year is it uh because yeah if it was any time if it was fucking okay that's uh from whenever that was adopted actually I don't know when what the origin of it

0:42:21 Lydia: It was during the cold war wasn't it

0:42:23 Thomas: Well that's no I know when they changed when they put God in was in the 50s but I'm wondering when it was even a thing like when was the pledge of allegiance even I don't it doesn't go back to 1770 fucking six so the point I was going to make is like I don't know if it's had more time before having God in it than after? Maybe not, because I feel like it didn't come. Well, I don't know. I guarantee you they don't know that the God part is that recent. I guarantee it. We could do a test like this that they would actually fucking fail, and

0:42:34 Lydia: No no let's see I'm gonna pull it up right now oh yeah totally

0:42:55 Thomas: That would be so much harder, too. Like, it'd be stuff that, like, probably a lot of people might fail, because if you did a test that was the actual real history, and then the fake answers were the fake history that a lot lot of us learn in school that would really trip up these people okay

0:43:10 Lydia: Yeah it looks like uh the version of the pledge you know prior to adding the under god was formally adopted by congress in in 1942.

0:43:21 Thomas: Well but yeah it was probably around before that but

0:43:23 Lydia: Yeah, it said that they had circulated the Pledge of Allegiance in leaflets to schools across the country. And on October 21st, 1892, 10 ,000 children recited the verse together. But I don't know if... Anyway, right. This is our last question.

0:43:45 Thomas: Well anyway it's good to know that it wasn't around you know longer than it's had under god in it but the original did not have under god oh here we

0:43:45 Lydia: From whom does the United States government derive its power? The Supreme Court, the people, the president, the military.

0:43:48 Thomas: Go oh here we go okay I want god in there it's funny yeah okay well it's the people

0:43:55 Lydia: I know know I want to got in there too the people all right congratulations you've successfully completed and passed the teacher test how would you rate the difficulty of this test easy moderate difficult or very difficult yeah

0:44:03 Thomas: Give me that a fucking certificate um it's easy there's no you don't need the rest of the answers are you kidding me it should be fucking stupidly easy you don'T have to have a pulse easy you guys are stupid and you don't know what you're doing yeah or embarrassing

0:44:19 Lydia: Embarrassing yeah thank you click submit to have your certificate sent to your email inbox all right submit and oh and then oh man I'm gonna I'll edit it um

0:44:26 Thomas: Yeah do it let's get this can we make it say where there's woke yeah

0:44:33 Lydia: And then it takes you to their donation page.

0:44:36 Thomas: Oh do you have to donate to well no that can't be right Right. OK.

0:44:39 Lydia: No, no, no. No, so submit and you get it, but then it just says, thank you for taking the teacher qualification test. We're on a mission to fix our education crisis and teach economics, life skills, history, civics, entrepreneurship, and pro -American values to millions of children and adults across our country.

0:44:52 Thomas: And we're only accepting people who know insanely basic things about the fucking dumb shit of our government. But but, OK, my question for you about all this and we haven't this this was a sidetrack that I love. That was fun. You're saying this is happening. This is a real thing, though, right?

0:45:09 Lydia: Yes, yeah!

0:45:09 Thomas: And this is the form in which you have to take it. So you get sent to their donation page like to become a teacher in Oklahoma. Oklahoma, you've got to take a stop by Prager. Oh, from out of state? Oh, I missed that part.

0:45:15 Lydia: If you are coming from a woke state, yeah? Yeah, from out of state. Yeah, they're trying to recruit teachers from across the country, but they're concerned about teachers coming from woke states and bringing their woke indoctrination to their state. And so they want to make sure that you're not woke, and so you have to pass this ideological test before you would be issued an Oklahoma teacher certification.

0:45:43 Thomas: Because you need a specific Oklahoma teacher certificate. Oh. I see. I guess it's just weird that it's like, I still think you would have to give it to people who are getting their teaching certificate, even if they are born in Oklahoma, don't you think? I don't know how you could police where people...

0:45:59 Lydia: Perhaps. I guess the question would be like the certification entities and stuff and what they look like in Oklahoma and if it reflects their biological ideas. Yeah.

0:46:08 Thomas: No, I just mean in terms of administering something like this, it's just part of the getting the teacher's credential in Oklahoma, even if you're born there. Are they making it specifically if you come from out of state? That just seems hard to do.

0:46:22 Lydia: I mean, that's my understanding, but perhaps not. Perhaps it's going to be even more widely spread. But the way that they're marketing it is that it's specifically to make sure that woke ideas are not going to infiltrate their schools.

0:46:35 Thomas: Yeah. So I think you would just make it a part of the teaching credential. Anyway, that just seems weird to me. But okay.

0:46:41 Lydia: Yeah, it's all weird. The fact that it exists is weird.

0:46:46 Thomas: Does it become an equal protection issue? I guess they could say...

0:46:49 Lydia: Oh, I know. I have been wondering about the legality of this.

0:46:51 Thomas: No, that's why I think they... I think they're just saying it's about out of the state, but I think they would have to just make part of teaching credential for anybody, I think. But anyway. Anyway.

0:47:00 Lydia: So that is obviously a big driver here about why we're talking about PragerU today. But also, additionally, they just partnered with the White House to put together the Founders Museum in celebration of the 250th anniversary of our country. And they did this pretty much the exact same time that the Corporation for Public Broadcasting was defunded. So even outlets like Vox were posting Prager U is going to be the new PBS. All right. I'm going to stop us there. We have so much more to talk about with PragerU. I only got to talk about my first reason for like why this is important, but I don't know. I think doing the test was definitely a worthwhile time.

0:47:40 Thomas: Well, we need to stop, too, because I need to admire my certificate. I'm going to get it framed.

0:47:43 Lydia: We need to go hang it up on the wall. But we have a whole other reason why it's important to be talking about Prager U. And then we also have to talk Talk about PragerU.

0:47:52 Thomas: Oh yeah. What's PragerU?

0:47:52 Lydia: So that's going to be our second episode. And you better believe we're going to have some of their content that we're going tobe going through as part of that next episode as well. So you're not going to want to miss it.

0:48:05 Thomas: Finally, I'll learn some history.

0:48:07 Lydia: Yeah. Some history. No.

0:48:10 Thomas: Well, thanks so much for listening, everyone. Thanks, Lydia, for the great breakdown and for the fun test. And next time on Where There's Woke. Prager, prag, prag. Still don't have anything. Anything. PragerU2. No, that's good.

0:48:22 Lydia: Oh, Prager U2.

0:48:23 Thomas: PraigerU2, Praiger U, Prager U2. Or is it like Praiger U, Preiger U2?

0:48:30 Lydia: I don't know.

0:48:31 Thomas: That's how we sign off on our text conversations. Praeger U, oh, Praeger U2, yeah, I'd love to put a fucking pin in Columbus. Fuck that guy. PP, PP vagina. I pledge allegiance to the wokest of the Martin Luther King Jr. diversity, equity, and inclusion of the critical race theory through which it stands.

0:48:33 Lydia: Oh yeah. Prager you.
