Privacy policy for Serious Pod's apps
Last updated: November 3, 2026
Serious Pod LLC makes podcasts, including Opening Arguments. This page covers the small private tools we use to run our own channels.
Who uses these tools
Serious Pod uses a few private tools, including "OA HQ", to manage its own podcast channels, including the Opening Arguments YouTube channel. Only Serious Pod staff use them. They are not offered to the public.
What they access
With the channel owner's permission, these tools access that YouTube channel's channel and live-stream settings, so we can schedule and run our own live streams. They do not access viewers' data.
Where the information is kept
The access token and any channel data stay on Serious Pod's own server. Nothing is sold, shared or used for advertising.
Google API Services
Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Removing access
The channel owner can remove these tools' access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
